SDI high definition video signal slip rings, which are important components of robotic arms, are present in the visual systems of these medical robots. Robotic arms can rotate 360 ​​degrees freely without limitation and require continuous power supply, which makes it necessary to have a component that can rotate 360 ​​degrees freely and continuously to ensure their proper operation, and the SDI signal slip ring precisely meets this requirement. JINPAT has extensive experience in developing multi-signal integrated slip rings, which can transmit various special signals inside a compact slip ring. The slip rings developed by JINPAT for the medical industry are mainly small-sized products, and most of them are in the category of LPC capsule slip rings with 30 channels or less, LPM full-series slip rings, and some LPMS slip rings. For example, LPMS-12 UHD 01-08 S is an extremely compact 3G-SDI signal embedded slip ring with an outer diameter of 6.5mm and a length of 17.4mm. This slip ring is probably the smallest 3G-SDI signal embedded slip ring available on the global market. Of course, if customers have special requirements, JINPAT can also develop a smaller SDI signal slip ring based on LPMS-08D with a diameter of 5.5mm. However, in most cases, medical SDI signal slip rings are developed based on LPM or LPC, because many medical instruments do not require extremely compact slip rings, and the size of the slip ring is not a critical factor under normal circumstances.
