As a recognized slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT has developed many series of products with different shapes and electrical characteristics, which are sold in various countries around the world. These slip rings are designed in accordance with the laws, regulations, and technical specifications in various regions of the world.
The LPA series high-current slip ring, which is one of the main products of JINPAT, is a relatively special type. The whole series is customized products, and the application field and equipment are also very diverse. In addition, there are many laws, regulations and technical specifications that need to be followed. Among the products of JINPAT LPA series, the crane slip ring has high performance. At present, hundreds of JINPAT crane slip rings are in use. Next, taking the newly developed crane slip ring as an example, let’s briefly introduce the technical specifications or standards that need to be followed in the product development process.
The specifications of offshore cranes, which are part of heavy engineering equipment, must also be strictly differentiated depending on the application platform. For example, the slip rings of ordinary engineering ship cranes are very different from those of oil drilling platforms. Ordinary offshore plant ship cranes only need to meet the specifications of the classification society, while offshore cranes used on oil drilling platforms must meet explosion-proof standards for hazardous locations.
The latest slip ring for offshore cranes used by JINPAT for oil drilling platforms requires the product to be developed according to customer requirements, including the specifications of CCS cranes, the Safety Regulations for Offshore Fixed Platforms, the design specifications of cranes GB/T3811-2008, the IMO International Convention on the Safety of Marine Personnel and its Amendment, the IMO Mobile Offshore Platform Construction Convention, the standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission, the requirements of MSC.282 (86) on the prohibition of the use of asbestos and other regulations and specifications.
