Cable reels are often found in many construction machines. A cable reel contains cables and conductors that can be extended and withdrawn as required. An electrical cable reel facilitates the insertion and withdrawal of carried cables and is an integral part of many construction machines and devices such as winches and cranes.
In industrial areas, cable reels installed on cranes and ships generally require slip rings with high power to ensure full rotational transmission in the respective devices. JINPAT LPTS000-0440-14S and LPA000-0250-FO04 are two typical slip ring models for such applications. The hybrid of the JINPAT slip ring with through hole and high current slip ring is a very effective solution for construction machines. Thanks to the well thought-out internal design and special insulation measures, JINPAT slip rings are able to reliably transmit power and signal.In addition, the integrated swivel connections are easy to install and maintain and are therefore ideal for industrial applications.

These two types of slip ring models have an intact seal with a high degree of protection, they are splash resistant and show excellent shock resistance. The LPA 000-0250-FO04 is a large slip ring with a built-in optical pivot, so in addition to power and other signals, it can also transmit optical signals.
