Cable reels are indispensable tools in cable installation and transportation. In order to ensure the stability and safety of large cable reels during operation, JINPAT recently developed two series of slip rings for cable reels, LPT000-012. Although the two products have similar appearance, they differ in different key performance indicators based on customer specific requirements.
Visually, both products have robust stainless steel housings. The stainless steel housing increases corrosion resistance, withstands high temperatures and provides greater mechanical strength during operation. JINPAT’s careful processing of materials not only increases the product’s corrosion resistance, but also minimizes vulnerability to external environments, thereby extending the product’s service life.
In terms of performance, although the two products have similar appearances, the 03 series slip rings are superior in waterproofing, reaching IP66 protection and withstanding high pressures up to 2000 VDC. This design ensures high reliability in harsh working conditions, providing additional protection for cable reels.
On the other hand, the 04 series, although having slightly lower waterproof performance with IP56 protection grade, can still withstand high pressure up to 1800V DC. It has excellent performance, providing sufficient electrical protection for cable reel applications. Both series also work reliably in a wide temperature range from -45°C to 75°C, ensuring performance in various climate conditions.
