The large current slip ring is a branch of JINPAT’s customized slip ring. Large current slip rings are a strategic product of JINPAT Electronics. In this type, JINPAT Electronics has developed a slip ring model that has a voltage of 10000VAC and a capacity of one channel reaching 5000A. Considering that these two parameters are the key parameters when evaluating a slip ring, JINPAT Electronics stands out in the industry.
High current slip rings and through hole slip rings can be divided into solid shaft slip ring and hollow shaft slip ring. And most of the custom slip rings have solid shaft, while others have through hole. Now we will look at some large slip rings with a large through hole. Most of the hole diameter exceeds 100mm for better connection with other mechanical parts.
The LPA130-031000-01PE-50S is a newly published through-hole high power slip ring. This custom large current slip ring is designed for a propeller suspension system. The operating voltage is 450 VAC and the power rating is 1 MW. To accurately transmit various signals to the propeller, this custom slip ring integrates 50 channels of low power signal. It is one of the few slip ring models with a large number of channels.
Another model is coded LPA340-03350-04S, it is a custom made large slip ring designed for marine crane. The operating voltage of the slip ring is 440VAC, and the power module consists of 3 350A power channels. As for the signal module, there are only 4 signal channels at 24VAC. A more sophisticated model with a pneumatic channel is the LPA550-0370-01PE-1510. This is one of the first models with a history of more than 10 years.
