High-current slip ring refers to a slip ring that transmits a rated current of ≥100A/ring, generally used in high-power industrial equipment. The carrying capacity of these slip ring devices can be larger, and the specific specifications and performance parameters are generally customized according to customer requirements and application scenarios.

JINPAT, as an experienced and well-established slip ring manufacturer with nearly 30 years of R&D experience, is distinguished by the high current carrying capacity of its high-current slip rings. In fact, the input high-current slip rings can withstand the maximum current load of up to 4000A per channel, and theoretically, it can even reach 6000A per channel based on engineering achievements. Most of the input high-current slip rings are customized according to customer needs. Compared with ordinary high-current slip rings, customized products have stricter requirements for production, R&D, resulting in higher performance.

In high-current slip rings, the temperature rise data at each connection point inside the slip ring is critical to the service life and quality of the slip ring. Therefore, JINPAT high-current slip rings have a significant advantage in terms of performance due to three strict requirements for slip ring temperature rise testing: first, the slip ring is in a stationary rotating state; second, the current is supplied for 2 hours as specified in the wiring diagram; third, the temperature rise at each contact point is ≤70K (ambient temperature ≤35℃).

Static temperature rise test is the most direct way to test the performance of high-current slip rings, which can quickly evaluate the main characteristics of the slip ring. If the temperature rise test conditions do not match the operating conditions of the slip ring, it can easily cause damage to the slip ring. For low-cost slip rings, the test requirements can be reduced according to the operating conditions of the equipment.
