The electrical slip ring alone is sufficient to meet the needs of heavy machinery and machine tools. An integral slip ring is required to allow the transfer of fluids such as coolants and lubricants. Similarly, some automated manufacturing machines require an integral swivel fitting to supply compressed air. JINPAT Electronics has developed many versatile slip rings for applications requiring the transfer of power, signals, fluids and gases. One high-end mechanism, like the applications mentioned above, is the ship propeller.
Generally speaking, vessels utilizing a tray propulsion system tend to have a large volume. The slip ring allows the propulsion system to rotate through a specific angle while providing constant drive and signal transmission. This unique propulsion system not only provides drive to the ship, but also acts as a directional rudder. To match the size of the ship, an appropriate slip ring is required to support the transmission of large high power current and withstand high operating voltage. Among JINPAT slip rings for ship propulsion systems, most of them are hydraulic pneumatic integrated slip rings.
LPA000-06200-0618- 44S-01A-05L is a 200kW hydraulic pneumatic electric slip ring. It has 6 high power 200A power channels in its power block. The 6 18A power channels and 44 signal channels are built into an integrated through-hole slip ring, which is a weak power block. This slip ring is optional for IP65 and IP44. JINPAT Electronics has made a breakthrough in solving the problem of providing high power in a relatively compact package.
