First, let’s take a look at the MW level padded electric propeller slip ring, which has the highest power among all slip rings. Relatively, this large current slip ring is bigger than others. JINPAT LPA000-062000-01PE-72S-11L-01A is a 3 MW high power slip ring, which looks quite representative. Since the operating voltage is only 690V, it requires high power in one channel. Meanwhile, it requires a larger size copper ring. Together with the hollow construction, this slip ring actually occupies a large volume.
Unlike this high voltage slip ring with high current, JINPAT Electronics also has a slip ring model that has high operating voltage but relatively small value. Without the hollow structure, this slip ring is more compact. LPA000-1480-04FO-EX is a typical model among this type. This large slip ring integrates a 4-channel fiber optic swivel joint. With a length of 1050 mm and a diameter of 140 mm. It is the thinnest slip ring model in the group.
Among JINPAT high current slip rings, there are models with very low operating voltages, which are generally below 100V with single channel power above 100A. LPA000-08200-1530- 88S-03U2- 02E3-02S is a special high power solution designed for specific applications.
