Slip rings are widely applied in electromechanical systems that require rotary transmission of power and signals. Under certain circumstances, slip rings need to be integrated with liquid/gas channels and even with fiber optic rotary joint to meet practical requirements. And USB signal is also a very common type of signal that can be transmitted through slip ring. As a pioneer in slip ring manufacturing in China, JINPAT Electronics has accumulated rich experience in developing USB slip rings.
Up to now, JINPAT Electronics has developed slip rings that can integrate 8 channels of USB2.0 and 3 channels of USB3.0 at full speed. Since JINPAT USB2.0 slip rings use relatively few twisted pairs, they have more impedance matching capabilities compared with USB3.0 slip rings. And JINPAT USB3.0 slip rings have stricter standards for the diameter of the slip ring as well as the cable length on both the input and output sides.
JINPAT LPMS-06B-U2 is the thinnest of the entire USB slip ring collection. It is a pure USB slip ring without any other channel. Its length is 11.2mm with a diameter of 8.5mm. This small-sized USB slip ring is mainly used in the retractable remote control for aero chairs. This USB slip ring meets the electronic performance and environmental standards set by the aviation industry.

JINPAT LPC-56A-08 U2 is the USB slip ring model with the largest number of channels. This slip ring is designed for machine vision system to meet the needs of high-speed transmission. As for the USB3.0 slip ring, it can integrate 3 channels of USB3.0 at max. Most solutions are based on LPC-36A to achieve high-speed transmission. The USB slip ring can be integrated with HDMI, DP and Ethernet signals to achieve more versatile function. For example, LPA 000-08200-1530-88 S03 U2-02E3-02 SD is JINPAT’s latest integrated large-current slip ring. This powerful slip ring has 88 signal channels, 3 channels of USB2.0, 2 channels of Gigabit Ethernet and 2 channels of 1080P@60fps high-definition video signal. This powerful and highly integrated slip ring is designed for special optical equipment such as military laser device.
