In recent years, new energy technologies have emerged in the automotive industry and gradually spread to construction machinery and related manufacturing industry. China, as the country with the most machine manufacturing companies and the most eager to promote new energy, has joined the trend of introducing new energy into construction machines. To better meet the market requirements, JINPAT also produces slip rings for new energy construction machines.
The slip ring is installed to allow the electric cable reel on the new energy crane to rotate and adjust the wire length according to actual needs. Plug-in slip rings of electric construction machines can be further divided into two types; one is hybrid cranes powered by both petrol and electricity, the other is construction cranes powered solely by electricity.
Take the hybrid powered crane for example, it uses an electric slip ring, which is also applicable to traditional construction machines. As for the plug-in electric construction machines that do not run on petrol, an electric cable reel is needed. As an advanced slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT Electronics has developed dozens of special electric slip rings for these plug-in electric construction machines.


JINPAT Electronics offers practical solutions for swivelling connections for electrical construction machines. Most of these solutions are large current integrated slip rings. JINPAT Electronics LPA000-06120-0730- 0725PE-0805PE-08S-FO12 is an electric slip ring specially designed for quarry vehicles. It is quite representative slip ring modern for electrical installation machines. From its coding, customers can already learn something about this sophisticated and versatile slip ring. The large current slip ring has a modular design. There are 6 120A power channels in the large current module, and the working voltage of this device reaches 3150V. And the voltage of the power part of channel 7 30A power and pneumatic module also reaches 2200V. And the signal module, which integrates 8 signal channels, is only designed for 24V. What’s more, there is an integrated fibre optic rotary interconnection consisting of 6 single-mode optical channels and 6 multi-mode optical channels. This kind of single-mode and multi-mode integrated optical signal transmission is very rare.

To ensure smooth and reliable operation of the slip ring, JINPAT endows the high current slip ring with a high degree of protection, up to IP56. Meanwhile, the internal design is also adjustable to provide additional protection for the slip ring assembly. As for construction machines that require higher impact resistance, customers can request IP66 protection degree for the customised slip ring.
