At present, the high consumption slip ring market for consumer electronics is mainly represented by various stabilising gimbals. Due to the extremely low weight of these devices, ultra micro slip rings with their simple design, small volumes and low weight are also used. JINPAT supplies hundreds of thousands of these miniature conductive slip rings to the market every year. This type of product is represented by JINPAT’s LPMS ultra micro series slip rings, and the slip rings consumed in the consumer electronics market are mainly LPMS series products with 8-15 channels. The diameter of these slip rings ranges from 5.5 mm to 7.6 mm, and the total weight of the finished product is only a few grams.
For higher-end consumer electronic devices such as VR, the volume and weight requirements of the slip ring are relatively less stringent, but they increase the need for special signal transmission requirements. As a professional and powerful slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT has long been the first to develop virtual reality slip rings that integrate high-definition video signals. With the further development of related industries, manufacturers of virtual reality equipment and high-end gaming equipment that integrate virtual reality functions are beginning to appear internationally, which means that the demand for slip rings with integrated high-definition video signals for virtual reality equipment and high-end gaming equipment will increase in the future.

At present, slip rings for high-definition video signals used in high-end virtual reality and gaming devices are mainly integrated with HDMI or DP signals, while high-definition SDI video signals are mainly integrated into film and television production equipment. JINPAT has now succeeded in developing slip rings for 12G-SDI high-definition signals. The DP and HDMI high-definition video signal slip rings developed by JINPAT for virtual reality are capable of supporting both DP1.1 and HDMI 2.0 versions of high-definition signals, and newer versions of slip rings for high-definition signals are also being developed.
