In the application field of slip rings in industrial equipment, industrial robots are an important and specialized segment. The slip rings used in industrial robots are mainly medium-sized hollow shaft series conductive slip rings. Some industrial robots integrate pneumatic and hydraulic modules based on hollow shaft slip rings. In contrast, the slip rings used in small industrial robots are mainly composed of capsule slip rings. As a pioneer among slip ring manufacturers, JINPAT produces thousands of slip rings for industrial robots every year, including both hollow shaft series products and pneumatic and hydraulic integrated products. Of course, the most representative is the ultra-miniature series slip rings designed for small industrial robots.

Due to the long-term and high-intensity operating characteristics of industrial robots, the requirements for slip rings are extremely high. Several years ago, JINPAT met the requirements of industrial robot slip rings by testing various designs of slip rings with long service life and high reliability. At present, the industrial robot slip rings JINPAT puts on the market are products with long service life and high reliability. Among them, the main focus is on the standard models of hollow shaft series slip rings. These products are differentiated in built-in signal types, power supply circuit sizes and other details according to the differences in the terminal devices.

For industrial robots using the hollow shaft series, their compact size limits the supported single-channel current to no more than 50A, with the most common current being 5-30A per ring. The total number of power supply circuits is also no more than 10. For example, the slip ring of the LPT080-0220-05 S01 A industrial robot has a through-hole diameter of 80mm, 2 circuits of 20A each, and 1 circuit for pneumatic passage. In the slip ring of the INPUT series industrial robots with a hollow shaft, the most commonly used signals include Ethernet and various industrial control signals. As for the signal connector terminals, it is possible to weld the corresponding terminals online or embed the aviation plugs directly in the slip ring.
