Fiber optic rotary joints
Fiber Optic Rotary Joints (FORJs) are to optical signals what electrical slip rings are to electrical signals – a means of transmitting signals across rotating interfaces, especially for large data transfers. FORJs retain the inherent advantages of fiber optics from end to end. JINPAT has been manufacturing fiber optic rotating interconnects for over 25 years.
Single or multi-channel
FORJs are available in single-channel and multi-channel designs. Single and dual channel designs are the most economical in cost and size. If more than two fibers are present in the system, multiplexing solutions are available to combine multiple channels on one or two fibers, allowing the use of a single or dual channel FORJ.
LPFO optical slip rings are also known as fiber optic rotary couplers, optical rotary couplers. Optical slip ring uses optical fiber as a carrier. It is the best solution for high capacity data and signal transmission. Optical slip ring can be integrated with traditional electrical slip rings. The hybrid slip ring model is capable of transmitting power, signals and high-speed data.
