Radar slip rings play a crucial role in radar systems, acting as key components that control the transmission and reception of radar signals, enabling target detection and localisation. As a professional slip ring manufacturer, JINPAT produces small aperture hollow shaft slip rings, which are widely used in military radar applications.
JINPAT small aperture radar slip rings are characterised by their compact size, small diameter and volume, making them very suitable for small rotating military vehicles where they are used for power and signal transmission. On platforms such as small to medium sized military vehicles and aircraft, radar systems are typically limited in size, power and transmission range, requiring appropriately sized slip rings. For such radar systems, the required slip ring designs are relatively simple, with small aperture through-hole slip rings being the primary choice.
Jinpat, a leader in small aperture radar slip rings, offers the LPT 012/015/038/039 series of slip rings. The LPT012A-0701-E2 and LPT015-0610-E3 are the smallest aperture devices in this series, featuring simple integrated slip rings consisting of a few power rings and one Ethernet channel. These slip rings are typically used in shipboard collision avoidance radars, airborne radars, vehicle navigation radars, short range detection systems and some small target designation radars.
The contact rings of the LPT038/039 series are similar to those of the LPT 012/015 series in the area of application platforms, but with slightly extended functionality. In addition to more power rings than the previous series, they also support a greater variety of signal types, resulting in a larger number of signal rings. Typical models of these two pin hole rings are the LPT038-1205-12S and LPT039-0605-16 SE 2. The LPT038 uses standard slip ring moulds, providing a significant advantage in speed of delivery.
Radar slip rings play a vital role in various applications and are constantly being improved and optimised to meet a variety of requirements in different scenarios. JINPAT is committed to developing a variety of radar slip rings to meet the needs of various industries, continuously improving product performance and reliability. JINPAT is committed to providing high quality radar slip ring solutions and contributing to the development of radar technology.
