JINPAT Electronics, as an established slip ring manufacturer with a dynamic R&D team and rich manufacturing experience, has a high degree of customisation. More than 90% of our slip ring products are complete solutions.
There are many slip ring integrations. The most common is the integration of an electrical slip ring and a pneumohydraulic swivelling connection. This combination allows the passage of both electricity, signals, liquid and gas. As for the others, there is an integrated swivelling connection that transmits liquid/gas and optical signals. Customers can order a customised solution according to their needs.
There have been several recently published models of integrated slip rings that mix optical signal transmission and RF signal transmission. The LPT000-47S-03E2-HF03 is one such integrated slip ring. This solution is based on JINPAT’s independently developed HF-03A RF rotary coupler with 3 channels. Each channel operates at 2 GHz.These are RF integrated pivot joints used in shortwave radio equipment. In addition, there are 47 channels for other signals and 3 channels of 100M Ethernet signal. This slip ring model demonstrates the most common way to combine RF signal transmission and power transfer. It can also work as a radar slip ring solution. To serve so many channels, the size of this integrated slip ring is relatively large. The length of this high-frequency swivel joint is 240 mm and the diameter is 175 mm.
In contrast to the above solution, the LPT000-0215-12S-HF02 is a slip ring of rather small size. The outer diameter of this slip ring is only 50 mm, and with the tail buckle and SMA connector included, the length is only 85 mm. This perfectly demonstrates how well JINPAT optimises the slip ring design while keeping its performance at a high level.
