Pancake slip ring, also known as flat slip ring, is a special kind of slip ring. Its friction pair consists of a contact brush and copper rings. Copper rings are stacked concentrically instead of stacking together. This structure contributes to the ultra-thinness of the flat sliding ring. The pancake sliding ring is therefore particularly suitable for electronic devices with limited space in the axial direction.
