As a well-known slip ring manufacturer in the industry, JINPAT has developed many rotating conductive robot solutions with various functions. In the case of JINPAT, the vast majority of these slip ring robots are applied in the traditional manufacturing industry. However, over time, robots are gradually being applied in other fields. Among these new applications, surgical robots are the most typical representative.

Compared to the manufacturing industry, where robots have to repeatedly perform high-intensity work during use, surgical robots only need to assist doctors in performing high-precision operations in a short period of time. Some robots need to independently perform some of the less complex tasks of patient care or identifying special diseases that do not require a lot of time. Currently, medical robots that require slip ring installation have already been put into use, including advanced robots for surgical treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. These robots support high-definition video signal and high-precision operation, and can quickly assist doctors in disease diagnosis and surgery. The contact rings used are a combination product that combines 2K or more SDI high-definition video signals.

With the increasing investment in the field of robotics in the medical industry, various new robots with different functions have been developed. For example, the tumor treatment robot developed by other companies recently integrated various devices such as tumor treatment equipment and sports operating tables. Therefore, multiple slip rings need to be used in the entire system. The radiotherapy module requires a slip ring with a strong pulse signal and built-in power supply or a slip ring with a high frequency and built-in power supply. If the operating table has an endless rotation function, it is necessary to add a sliding ring that combines multiple vital sign monitoring signals to provide real-time monitoring of various symptoms during the patient’s treatment.
