In some common aerial photography drones with three-axis gimbals in a certain price range, the integration with the drone body is very compact, leaving limited space for unlimited camera rotation. As a result, the field of view for aerial photography is limited to a certain range in the direction of flight, requiring constant adjustment of the drone orientation to obtain a panoramic view. In contrast, professional-grade drones not only use more specialized lenses for aerial photography, but can also carry a small payload with additional functionality. To increase flight time and reduce power consumption caused by unnecessary maneuvers, adding a slip ring to the gimbal becomes a cost-effective solution.
