Engineering machinery slip rings have always been a key product of JINPAT, which produces about 10,000 sets of various models of this series every year. Among the slip rings for engineering equipment, there are both low-voltage slip rings for vehicles and high-voltage, high-power slip rings for heavy marine equipment. As a recognized supplier of slip rings for engineering equipment, JINPAT launches several new products every year. Recently, JINPAT has introduced two new products to customers. Let’s briefly introduce them.
First, let’s take a look at the slip ring used in the top of JINPAT’s excavator. Since excavators are often used outdoors, this excavator has a higher level of protection to ensure stable operation. The products in this series mainly use semi-enclosed cylindrical body, and its volume is not too large for convenient installation. As for the electrical performance, the operating voltage of this slip ring from JINPAT has reached 650VAC to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
The reason why its voltage has increased so much is that this model of device is specially designed for heavy-duty excavators. Due to the high voltage and strong current, the power of this type of slip ring reaches up to 50 kW. In addition to this new product designed for heavy excavators, JINPAT also released a new type of slip ring for offshore cranes this year. Due to customers’ privacy requirements, it is not convenient to disclose its model here. It is also a high precision slip ring.
Marine cranes are the most common construction equipment in the offshore heavy industry. Due to the need for long-term reliability, the protection level of the slip ring for marine cranes is usually relatively high. JINPAT, the latest slip ring for offshore cranes, has a protection rating of IP65. Its power module includes one 250A current lead and three 40A current leads with an operating voltage of 230VAC. To ensure the safety of the equipment’s exterior, a stainless steel housing construction compliant with EN-IEC61439 is used.
