LPT000-0410-0205-03SD1-01E4 is the latest model of JINPAT Broadcast Vehicle Slip Ring. It is a hollow shaft sliding ring with a relatively high degree of protection. When installed vertically, the degree of protection can be increased to IP68. As such, this through-rotary connection is capable of handling challenging external conditions.
The most important feature of LPT000-0410-0205-03SD1-01E4 is that this slip ring combines 3 SDI channels with 1 Gigabit Ethernet channel. In order to meet the operating conditions of the vehicle, this slip ring has an anti-vibration design. And considering the stress limitation in the vehicle structure, this hollow shaft slip ring also adopts twisted pair to provide higher throughput. Meanwhile, this design also provides enough space for the backup transmission module.
SDI signals are very important for vehicle broadcasting. From a technical point of view, 1080P @ 60fps is becoming a very common form of signal transmission in an outdoor broadcast system. That is, HD-SDI high-definition video is the entry level for broadcast vehicles.
